Canvas Print - Prairie Shipwreck - Bakke Homestead
Prairie Shipwreck - Bakke Homestead - Original 48" x 24" Oil, 2002 “This painting reflects one of my last photos in 1998 of my once grand family home. A hurricane came through in 1975 and took down our barns. It evokes the once busy, hard-working and happy lives begun at this hallowed hill. Our family name, Bakke, in Norwegian means ‘from, on or near a hill.’ We were in the ‘hills’ of Hill County, Montana.” JB 2-27-11 All canvas prints are reproduced using the highest quality fade-resistant giclée printing.
